Appointments
For all appointments and enquiries, call 02 9747 0299
We are open Monday to Friday (except Holidays) between 0900 to 1700
Hours.
As a Specialist clinic, patients need referral from their General
Practitioner,
family physician or other doctor to be eligible for a rebate from
Medicare.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your appointment for
registration and to fill in
a health questionnaire.
When you come for your appointments, please remember
to bring the following
Insurance information
Copies of operation records, medical records, x-rays, MRIs, CT scans and
so on from
prior doctor visits.
If you have had surgery elsewhere, please bring a copy of your operation
report.
Very often during the course of your evaluation or treatment for an
orthopaedic condition
we will require x-rays to determine the cause of a problem or to
evaluate your progress.
If not all the relevant information is available at the time of your
appointment this
may cause a delay in your treatment.
Appointments for X-ray are not necessary.
These are continually staffed whenever any doctor is consulting,
which covers most of the
week.
Patients may be referred for x-rays from outside. X-rays can
therefore be arranged prior to consultations.
Please dress so that the body part you are having trouble with can be
easily examined and/or
X-rayed. For example, please wear shorts if you are attending for a knee
problem.
To cancel an appointment:
Telephone the office during business hours. Please cancel at least 1
day ahead so that your
appointment time can be allocated to another patient who is seeking
treatment.
Your time is valuable and we make every effort to run on time. As you
can imagine,
emergencies occur that cause scheduling delays beyond our control. We
apologise in
advance if we keep you waiting.
